The ARI-R2 program promotes the repair and renovation of research and education infrastructure, with an emphasis on cyberinfrastructure, other than general-purpose computing. It is designed to improve access and increase use of next-generation research facilities. Optical and Ethernet technology such as that developed by ADVA Optical Networking will play a key part in increasing the accessibility of the nation's precious research infrastructure. For more information about the ARI-R2 program click here

The MRI-R2 program goal is to increase the access to shared scientific and engineering instruments required for research and education located at institutions of higher education, museums, science centers and non-profit organizations. Remote use of this equipment will require optical and Ethernet technology such as that which ADVA Optical Networking can provide.
