Next-Generation Access Solution Center

To demonstrate to service providers the benefits of a next-generation access architecture based on WDM-PON technology, ADVA Optical Networking has installed a customer solution center in its Meiningen, Germany facility. The center is designed to reveal how business, residential and wholesale access and backhaul requirements can best be served over a single unified infrastructure that requires little to no active equipment between the central office and customer premise. 

Access networks have struggled to keep pace with the explosion in bandwidth consumption and the growing number of network types and protocols. To complicate the service provider business model, consumers have been unwilling to pay higher prices for bandwidth. To remain profitable, service providers now look to bring fiber closer to the end user and drive simplicity into and costs out of their networks.

The solution center is equipped with working demos of our next-generation access technology so you can get hands-on experience. A variety of real-life access and backhaul network scenarios are displayed, addressing the different needs and requirements of service providers. And of course, our knowledgeable network specialists are available to guide you through the demonstrations and answer all your questions.
